Sunday 30 June, 12 noon: Blessing of the Calvary War Memorial on Old Quebec Street.
The restored Calvary War Memorial on the corner of Old Quebec Street and Bryanston Street was blessed in a special community event on Sunday 30 June.
The date marked 100 years since the memorial’s original unveiling and provided an opportunity to pay tribute to the sacrifice of the 69 soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War.
