Parish Giving Scheme
The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a scheme introduced by the Church of England. Instead of a standing order which authorises your bank to make payments to the church, the PGS authorises the church to debit your bank. Having collected the payment, the "Gift Aid" is recovered immediately and so the Annunciation immediately receives your donation with the tax payment. This method therefore cuts down on parish administration and also increases the cash flow.
