Electoral Roll

All Church of England parish churches have electoral rolls. These are not the same as local authority electoral rolls which enable you to vote at local or national elections.

Church electoral rolls are lists of regular worshippers who can then vote for members of the Parochial Church Council at the Annual Meeting. This is usually held after Easter.

You can join the Electoral Roll at any time once you have worshipped at a parish church for more than six months. The roll is revised annually in preparation for the Annual Meeting with public notices going up around six weeks before.

Every seven years the roll is completely revised. Everyone has to come off and reapply if they wish to remain on the roll. This ensures that rolls properly reflect the current congregation.

The Annunciation Electoral Roll Officer is Majed Najjar. For applicaton forms please contact the Majed in the church office.
