The theme this week is Compassion.
In the parable of the Prodigal Son Jesus tells of a Father whose love for his son in undiminished by his bad behaviour. When the son repents and returns home his father (who has been scanning the horizon for him) runs towards him, restores him to the the household and celebrates with his return.
As God the Father is compassionate so are we called to imitate this glorious example.
