This coming Sunday is Advent Sunday. The season of Advent marks four weeks of preparation for Christmas.
Being prepared is an excellent lesson in life and the church thinks of two groups and two individuals who prepared the way for Jesus: the Patriarchs/Matriarchs and the Prophets; and John the Baptist and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
