Welcome to The Annunciation, Marble Arch.

parish church of the annunciation marble arch exterior

As one of London's most famous churches,

the Church of the Annunciation has been a focal point of Anglican Catholic worship for nearly 100 years and although it is only a small parish, it attracts regular worshippers from all over London and the world.

It enjoys a particularly fine choral tradition and with steadily growing congregation and increasing numbers of younger families,

the children are encouraged to participate

in the Sunday School during the Mass.

Conveniently located in Bryanston Street, near to Marble Arch Central Line Station and just behind the Cumberland Hotel, the church is used by many people who visit the heart of London’s West End.

Here, you will find a haven of peace and prayerfulness, away from the commercialism of Oxford Street.

The Church of the Annunciation is a fine Edwardian Gothic style

building designed by Sir Walter Tapper, with many interesting features.

More detail can be found under History.

The marvellous acoustics of the building enhance the well established musical tradition.

For more pictures illustrating the fascinating features of this beautiful building, do take a look at the gallery.
